Mark Greenfield

Licensed Massage Therapist & Certified Personal Trainer

Mark is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer with 15 years of experience  He is a graduate of the world-renowned Swedish Institute in New York City and has master-level training in Active Release Techniques and Medical Massage. Mark has provided over 10,000 hours of massage therapy and personal training for clients seeking a wide range of fitness goals and injury recovery needs.

Mark believes strongly in a customized program model and understands that each person has essential needs, limitations, goals and a unique story that requires a careful and thoughtful adaptation of movement and exercise science to meet individual goals.  Bringing to the table a deep foundation in anatomy, physiology and movement science, his long term clients will tell you that “Mark knows the human body like no other person I have ever met.”

He provides an overall dynamic and collaborative approach to physical fitness and hands-on healing.  Mark is one of the very few massage therapists in New York City who specializes in Active Release Technique (ART) which enables him to offer an unconventional treatment that few providers in the city can perform, putting Mark in an exclusive category. Very often you will find him integrating his hands on work during personal training sessions and routinely providing exercises to clinical massage clients, each process complementing the other.
