Strength Training

At On Your Mark we understand full well the unique body elements of the individuals we work with so that the regimen is tailored to you for better, healthier, injury free results that can be modified for different fitness levels. Strength training can be particularly effective for those who experience repetitive strain injuries and for those who want to tone and lose weight without a time consuming cardio regimen.

Exercise is the closest thing there is to a miracle drug, and strength training is one of the best kinds of exercise: more healthy and more efficient than most people realize, and a valuable component of fitness and most injury rehabilitation. The most important aspect is knowing what your body can handle and building up from there, especially for those who have injuries current or past.

Strength training can be done very safely and precisely, particularly aided by personal trainers, so that you can pursue fitness without aggravating existing injuries or risking new ones — a critical rehabilitation advantage that is underrated.
